First M&E field visit of the Oversight Body Committee from AIDS Project activities was conducted on Sunday and Monday, 17- 18 July 2016 in Shiraz. 

Ms. Goudarzi, Dr. Azemati and Dr. Vasigh (as the representatives of Dr. Doroudi) (Members of Oversight Body Committee) and Dr. Zarrabian, representative of Family Health Association of Iran (as CCM) and Ms. Khaneghah Panah, Global Fund Project Manager from UNDP (as PR) participated in this visit. Ms. Modarresi and Ms. Kadkhoda from CCM secretariat accompanied the delegation.  

In the first day, as per the arrangements made by Prisons Organization and Welfare Organization (as SRs), the delegation visited Abdel Abad prison and Men’s DIC (Payam Rahayi). 

On the second day, as per the coordination made by AIDS Control Department of Communicable Diseases Control Center (as project SR) and Mental Health Social Health and Addiction Department(MEHSHAD) as project SSR, first Lavan Counseling Center and VCT and then Women’s DIC, subsidiary of University of Medical Sciences were visited. 

Narrative reports and statistics, equipment and AIDS project implementation arrangements in the stated centers were reviewed by the delegation. 

State authorities and experts and focal points of respective organizations were actively involved in the visits.
